Academic Recovery Centers of GA Scholarships

Purpose

The ARC GA Partial Scholarship Program is designed to expand access to high-quality academic intervention services for students who demonstrate financial need while maintaining program integrity and sustainability. Scholarships are need-based and limited.

Scholarship Structure

ARC GA Scholarships cover 25%–50% of tuition costs. Families are responsible for the remaining balance. Scholarships are awarded for a designated period (typically 8–12 weeks per cycle), and renewal is not guaranteed and requires reapplication. To be considered for a partial scholarship, families must:

1. Demonstrate Financial Need

  • Provide proof of income (one of the following):

    • Most recent tax return

    • Two recent pay stubs

    • SNAP, TANF, or other assistance documentation

2. Commit to Program Expectations

  • The student must attend at least 90% of scheduled sessions

  • Parent/guardian must:

    • Ensure consistent attendance

    • Support at-home practice when assigned

    • Maintain communication with ARC GA staff

3. Submit Required Documentation

  • Completed ARC GA Enrollment Form and submitted the required documentation

Priority Considerations

Four partial scholarships are prioritized for 2 students performing below grade level in reading and/or math, and 2 students with documented on-grade-level or above-grade-level performance. Qualifying students must have regular and punctual attendance at his/her home school.

Application Process

  1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form

  2. Submit all required financial and academic documentation

  3. Participate in a brief family consultation (if needed)

  4. Receive a decision within 5–7 business days

Award Terms & Conditions

  • Scholarships apply only to tuition

  • Families must remain current on their portion of payments

  • Failure to meet attendance or payment expectations may result in:

    • Scholarship reduction or revocation

  • Scholarships are non-transferable

Attendance & Accountability Policy

To maintain scholarship status:

  • Students must not exceed 2 unexcused absences per cycle

  • Excessive tardiness or missed sessions may result in:

    • Loss of scholarship eligibility

  • Academic progress will be monitored regularly

All financial and personal information submitted will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for scholarship determination.
